What we collect, why, where it lives, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
Invinity B.V. is the data controller for Firal, registered in the Netherlands (KvK 42105979). For any privacy question or request, email support@firal-social.com.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, handle, and optional display name and bio.
- Age confirmation — Firal is 18+, so we record that you confirmed you are an adult.
- Portfolio data — when you connect a brokerage or exchange read-only, we read positions and their history to calculate returns and risk. We never receive the ability to trade or move money.
- Content you post — posts, comments, theses, groups and the settings that decide who can see them.
- Consent records — what you agreed to and when.
Where it is held
Firal's database is hosted in the European Union. Some suppliers we rely on — for hosting, email delivery and error monitoring — process limited data outside the EU under the safeguards required by the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses.
Identity documents
Where identity verification is required, documents and any biometric checks are handled entirely by a specialist verification provider. Firal receives the result of the check, never the document itself, and does not store identity documents or biometric data.
Who can see your data
You do. Firal's privacy model gives you three audiences — public, friends and groups — and you decide for each what it can see: holdings, trades, percentage returns and risk score. These rules are enforced in the database itself, not only in the interface. Monetary balances are never shown publicly or to friends. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Export and deletion are built into your account settings; anything else, email us and we will act on it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will say so in the product before the change takes effect.
